Gene Rice

for Higher Education
Dr. Rice is scholar in residence and director of the Forum on Faculty Roles and Rewards at the American Association for Higher Education in Washington, D.C. before moving to AAHE, he was vice president and dean of the faculty at Antioch College, where he held a tenured appointment as professor of sociology and religion. He helped initiate the first of the experimental "cluster colleges" and was recognized as one of a small group of "idea leaders" whose work has made a difference nationally by Change magazine.
